Sony Mobile Communications has officially announced that the Ice Cream Sandwich update is now available for the Xperia Arc S,  Neo V and the Ray. Having said this, Sony mobile is yet to release the ICS update for the Xperia S which is their new hero device.

Some of the enhancements users of the aforementioned devices can expect include improve performance, improved web browser, new widgets, new dialer, enhanced lock screen, Face Unlock, new Multi-tasking interface, Data Consumption monitor, better Gmail, Group Phonebook, Voice Search and many more.
The update is not an OTA update and users will have to connect their devices with a computer. Windows users can use the PC Companion suite to update their device, while Mac will need to use the Sony Bridge for Mac suite.
Sony is saying Flash support will be disabled once the device is updated, however the user can mitigate the issue buy downloading the latest Flash player.
