Intel launches Ivy Bridge processors
Today Intel has launched its IVY Bridge processors based on its 22nm 3D transistor technology. They will collectively be known as the 3rd Generation of Intel Core Micro architecture.
According to Intel, these new chips based on the 3D tri-gate transistor technology will reduce energy leakage, and will boast of better graphics performance. In comparison to previous generation Sandy Bridge chips, these new chips will be able to handle 4k resolutions.
